The picture above is that of the former vice president of Nigeria Alhaji Atiku Abubakar posing as a young custom officer. This notable Nigerian politician was born precisely in November 25th 1946 in small village called jada located in today’s adamawa state. Atiku Abubakar studied briefly in police college Kaduna; in 1966 he left for the school of hygiene in kano where he bagged a diploma. He also bagged a diploma in law from the Ahmadu Bello University before joining the Nigerian
Customs Service. He is still actively involved in politics and as indicated interest severally in running for the post of the president in Nigeria. Aside from being a politician Alhaji Atiku is also a prominent business man and also an academician. He is the owner of the renown American University of Nigeria
